My favorite quote is: “If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” This quote is from Henry Ford.

The essence of being a creator- an innovator- is making the unrealistic real. It’s bringing things into the world that the average person could never conceptualize.

And the essence of being a *Black* creator is having the audacity to build the world around you without asking for permission. That’s why I live by this quote. In everything I do, I believe in building a world and a future for diverse communities and telling new stories. Without limiting myself to what other people believe is possible.

As an aspiring film production executive, my dream is to open doors to future generations who will change the world. Come on this journey with me!

P.S.- Henry Ford was a raging racist, so hope he is in hell enjoying seeing a Black woman use his quote to talk about diversity! 🙂

I’m currently interning at Warner Bros. Discovery in Burbank, California, living my LA dream. I’m out here thanks to the Emma Bowen Foundation and the UNC Hollywood Internship Program. Check out my profile on IMDb.

I have experience producing, directing and editing both passion projects and professional projects for clients. I’ve also completed projects as part of my education at UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media.

My goal: to be an LA-based director in film, advertising and music videos.

My passion for filmmaking has manifested in my work with Lightwood Studios and as an independent videographer.
